Two months to go until the baby is due. It’s interesting watching the stages my wife goes through as the date gets closer. One morning she woke up with her mind set on getting the nursery ready and she focused on it over everything else until it was done. The baby shower also kept her occupied for a week or so and it was like nothing else existed.
Her newest obsession is Baby Proofing. Of course, most of this is goes on my list since it requires tools. She picked up a few permanent gates and latches for all of the cabinets. I’ll be slowly installing them over the next few weeks. In the mean time, she has already packed up most of the small, breakable, display items we have around the house. Our coffee tables are bare and I have several boxes to carry down to the basement.
I sure hope the baby comes soon or all of these chores are going to kill me!
